Elgin Community College just turned 60. They have a very nice culinary arts center, including a working lab and a student restaurant. They are known as on of the better Chicago culinary schools.Elgin Community College offers eight study options emphasizing cooking, baking and food preparation skills; three options in restaurant/hospitality management; and three more in hotel management.From The Daily Herald
