Proceeds from the brunch provide student scholarships, equipment and supplies for the culinary arts program and helps with travel expenses for student competitions, said KCC Chancellor Helen Cox who personally greeted as many of the diners as she could.Many culinary arts scholarships were awarded by several rotary clubs as well as the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association. It's great that the culinary school can do this type of event and help raise money for itself.
