23rd annual American Culinary Federation Brunch in Hawaii

The 23rd annual American Culinary Federation Brunch happened at the Kaua‘i Community College campus in Hawaii. The served over 2000 meals and helped raise money for many good causes, as well as its own culinary school.

Proceeds from the brunch provide student scholarships, equipment and supplies for the culinary arts program and helps with travel expenses for student competitions, said KCC Chancellor Helen Cox who personally greeted as many of the diners as she could.

Many culinary arts scholarships were awarded by several rotary clubs as well as the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association. It's great that the culinary school can do this type of event and help raise money for itself.

I can think of many worse places to go to culinary school than Hawaii!
